It was one of those days and by that I mean there was a seemingly endless reel of emotion. Throughout the day I endured just about everything: Anger, frustration, nostalgia, anxiety and even a sense of selfishness. But I think the most important thing is that I overcame all of those feelings with happiness and pure appreciation, especially for the little things. But more importantly for the big people--the people who mean the most. And when taking these photos I felt an array of things, but being surrounded by the grassy terrain and standing atop abandoned industrial train-tracks all while feeling the gleaming California sun, the only thing I felt was an overwhelming sense of freedom. Corny right? Well being here in California seems to have that affect on me... And it's like I mentioned, sometimes the best things in life are wild, imperfect and free.
