MAGIC Tradeshow: Recap Photo Diary

After attending my second season at MAGIC, I'm convinced of the fact that the progression of talent seems to undeniably increase with each passing season. Trend-wise, femininity is a key element in much of what I saw at all shows, with luscious pastels and draping silhouettes. Although I must confess, I spent a good amount of my time roaming around the seemingly endless "streets" of luxury and street fashion shoes, followed by participating in a social media panel at the FN Platform Influencer Lounge. The following few days consisted of participating in more social media-based discussions followed by a particularly interesting panel advising how brands and bloggers should align based on aesthetic, mission and sartorial tastes. MAGIC's hustle and bustle atmosphere was enough to further heighten the excitement. In fact, I even said to both my friends and fellow bloggers Olivia and Bethany, "I bet you anything they make the convention center white and gleaming so we feel like we've died and gone to (fashion) heaven!" So coupling the three day's events with some seriously hip soirees at some of Vegas' best restaurants and hotels, and hanging with a group of talented individuals, mixed with old and new friends was the perfect way to end my summer... Thank you to all of those at MAGIC for letting me return to represent New York City and expect more coverage and outfit posts!
