If you’ve been following my coverage you’re probably wondering why I skipped day seven... Two reasons, I had shows all day and I wasn’t too in love with my outfit. It’s fine. A fashion faux pas is definitely bound to happen during NYFW, as such I’ll just get to the good part: What I wore to the Ralph Lauren and Calvin Klein shows! Now, I need to be honest: I felt an element of prestige attending these shows with some of fashion’s most elite. Having the opportunity to witness collections created by the two most iconic masters and pioneers of American style was indescribable and most certainly an honor. Ralph Lauren and Calvin Klein provide the cornerstone pieces for every modern woman’s wardrobe while still emulating that classic yet timeless flair that makes each of them so distinctive. As such I channeled the idea of American fashion into my outfit, sporting the “American” color palette with feminine silhouettes and a opting to add a dramatic touch with my grandma’s vintage scarf from the 1940‘s- An American Girl at best. I can’t thank the teams at both RL and CK enough for including me in the magic. It was an incredibly brilliant way to end a fully loaded NYFW.
