What I've come to love about Fall in New York City is the stillness that seems to make each moment last a little longer. People often complain (myself included) that there isn't enough time to finish everything we need to get done, as summer shortens each day and the colder seasons seem to do just the opposite. That's what the experts claim at least. But my questions is, how can that be when the sun sets so early? Time is an interesting thing to think about, but not to question because at the end of the day (no pun intended) you can never really get a grasp on it. Bryant and I were strolling through my dad's neighborhood in Astoria and found an entire street covered with crumbled brown leaves, it was absolutely silent and I immediately knew it was the perfect place to take these photos. I knew it was the perfect place and time to enjoy the moment.
